BEAU-TI-FUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is how life on the Ottawa is right now. The unimaginable has happened and the wave that they struggled to get water for during the worlds is raging as never before in June!!!!!!!! BUSEATER is prime and we're surfing it in temperatures above 30 degrees!! We couldn't ask for more :) Its been a good time and after yesterday I can confirm that the RAD is one hard ass boat. My deck imploded on the wave and I had swum almost around the corner out of sight before anyone noticed. I almost got my boat into the eddy above the next rapid but had to let it go cause the rapid was too sketchy to swim down with it. Obviously a white boat is pretty hard to spot and by the time I bush bashed my way around the bend and back to the river it was out of sight. I was left high and dry on an island with only my paddle at high water...dam. At this stage my friends show up and Tyler takes off down the river to try and find my boat while I begin the bush bash / swim back up rive...not fun!! Good news is that there is a happy ending as Tyler found my boat near the takeout (PHEW!!) and it had survived unscathed through a huge mas of water and some gnarly rapids so yay Bliss-Stick they know how to build them tough and I can surf another day on Bussy!!! :) For more info & Pics check out: 10 DAYS IN JUNE10%20days%20in%20June.htmlshapeimage_2_link_0
